The Hamilton Shorty is an extremely feminine kaftan/dress hybrid with a triple tiered skirt. The fit through the body is similar to the Sue Sartor Flounce™️ Dress, but we have added an additional 2 inches in the chest/ bodice for each size. Our shorter flutter sleeve with custom hand-piping provides the perfect amount of upper arm coverage.

Size down from your flounce dress size, or enjoy the roomy Kaftan comfort if you prefer.

Our gris blue and brown color-way in the new Stylized Blooms Block Print is our favorite print for transitioning right into fall. The whimsical winding floral prints set on a white 100% fine cotton base are stunning.

*All of our garments are based on an easy kaftan concept & are roomy and generous. The main area you’ll want to check is the chest measurement, as the rest of the garment is A-line, comfortable and roomy.
Care Guide

It is best to hand or machine wash cool on the gentle cycle. Tumble low heat or hang dry. 

We strongly recommend washing alone in cold water on delicate with gentle detergent. Please remove wet garments from the washing machine immediately to prevent the dye from bleeding. A steamer or warm iron presses the garments out quickly & beautifully.

*If you prefer to dry clean, please note some cleaners use solvents that effect the color.

For darker hand-dyed block prints, the garment will soften with wear and wash care (see instructions). Due to the process of block printing, color may transfer. Avoid contact with pale fabrics and surfaces until washed and colors are set.
